Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for registering a user terminal in an IMS (IP multimedia subsystem) network, and provides a technical scheme in which multiple user terminals share one private user identification to access a network so that multiple user terminals can obtain the same user customized information and enjoy the same service. The registration messages sent by the multiple user terminals to a network end include the same private user identification, and the registration message sent by each user terminal includes an additional identification which is unique to each user terminal within the range of multiple user terminals; after receiving the registration message from the user terminal, an S-CSCF (serving-call session control function) obtains the user customized information of the user terminal from an HSS (home subscriber server) according to at least the private user identification; and the S-CSCF sends registration information to a service platform according to the user customized information of the user terminal, executes corresponding service control steps, and sends a registration response message indicating whether the registration of the user terminal is successful to the user terminal according to the registration result fed back by the service platform.
