The storehouse disclosed by the invention comprises a storehouse main body defined by a roof and a storehouse wall; a cooling device is arranged in the storehouse and comprises a water spraying pipe arranged above the storehouse wall; the water inlet of the water spraying pipe is connected with a water pump and a cold water source; a valve is arranged on the water pipe; a drainage tank is arranged below the water spraying pipe; the water outlet of the drainage tank is communicated with the cold water source; the bottom surface of the drainage tank is an oblique surface inclining toward the cold water source; the lower part of the water spraying pipe is provided with a water outlet hole; and the water spraying pipe is provided with a plastic film which droops into the drainage tank along the wall surface. In the freshness preservation method disclosed by the invention, the cooling device is adopted, and a water pump pumps cold water to the water spraying pipe to spray water; the water flows downward from the inner wall of the plastic film to form a water screen, and flows back to the cold water source from the drainage tank; and the indoor temperature is reduced through water circulation.
