Abstract

The roof has an actuating mechanism moving a movable rigid panel (2) between a closed position, a half-open position and an open position. The rigid panel closes a cutout (10) in a roof panel (1) of an automobile. The rigid panel is projected toward an outer side of the roof panel by lifting a rear edge (22) in the half-open position. A front edge (21) is placed opposite to the rear edge in alignment with the roof panel. The rigid panel is located under the roof panel and shifted toward the front edge relative to the cutout in the open position.
