The advantages of the method are as follows: the method realizes unified integration of testing processes in the set top box production for test of different set top boxes, thereby shortening test time of each set top box and improving testing efficiency; as the engineering test software is installed in the storage system and is separated from formal functional software, the storage capacity of the set top box itself is increased greatly, and the operation speed of the set top box is improved; and the production testing data are automatically stored into the storage equipment, so that we can monitor and manage production testing processes by analyzing the production testing data.
