According to the embodiment of the contact sampling frequency switchover method and the contact sampling frequency switchover device, the contact sampling frequency is changed according to current states of the electronic equipment, and therefore control to the contact sampling frequency is achieved. Special requirements of touching operations can be met through changing the contact sampling frequency, and meanwhile power consumption of the equipment can be controlled.
