Abstract

The invention discloses a power supply cable. The supply cable includes high voltage wires and connectors for the traction motor, charger, upper battery pack and lower battery pack. The power supply cable includes a clamshell shield that protects the cable as it passes through the rear seat base. A two-piece grommet is provided to seal between the passenger compartment and the underbody of the vehicle and includes a rigid connecting ring and a seal that isolates the passenger compartment from the environment below the vehicle.
