Abstract

The invention provides a wireless communication circuit supporting an antenna diversity mechanism, which is used for controlling a switching circuit in a wireless communication device with a plurality of antennae, and comprises a transmit-receive circuit for receiving and transmitting network packets, a control module for controlling the switching circuit to switch the transmit-receive circuit among the antennae to allow the transmit-receive circuit to receive a preface section of the first network packet, and a receiving intensity detection unit for measuring receiving intensity values of the antennae in respective receiving periods respectively when the transmit-receive circuit receives the preface section, wherein if the receiving intensity values of the antennae are less than a preset threshold, the control module selects the antenna with the maximum receiving intensity value as a target antenna and controls the switching circuit to couple the transmit-receive circuit to the selected target antenna and allow the transmit-receive circuit to receive the rest, including a header section and a data bearing section, in the first network packet through the target antenna.
