Abstract

The method comprises the steps of enabling an IPv6 router to stop periodically sending router advertisement (RA) programs; enabling an IPv6 host to send router solicitation (RS) messages with authentication information; enabling the IPv6 router to judge whether the authentication information of the RS messages exists after receiving the RS messages with the authentication information; if the authentication information of the RS messages exists, enabling the IPv6 router to perform matching on the authentication information; if the authentication information of the RS messages is matched, LLA of the RS messages is added to a trust forward list; enabling the IPv6 router to send RA messages with authentication information; enabling the IPv6 host to perform matching on the authentication information of the RA messages after receiving the RA messages with the authentication information within timer time; and if matching is achieved, processing the RA messages. According to the IPv6 access authentication method, the host selects the appropriate router to perform data service forwarding and mutual matching authentication, and service distribution between the router and the host is achieved.
