Problems solved by technology

[0007] But when Figure 1B In the shown plug 13, the locking parts 24 are formed as two opposite to each other in the cylindrical part 17 of the socket 14, and are simply formed into a shape hooked on the socket 14. In addition, since the arm 23 is relatively long, it is obvious that Strong locking strength is required, especially when an external force is applied in the vertical direction (Z direction) perpendicular to the left-right direction (Y direction) opposite to the locking portion 24, the locking portion 24 is easy to fall off from the socket 14 The problem

Embodiment Construction

[0036] Hereinafter, examples of the present invention will be described.

[0037] Figure 2A , 2B Indicates the appearance of the socket and plug constituting the connector of the present invention, in Figure 2A , 2B The illustrations of the internal connectors housed inside are omitted. Figure 3A-3G Indicates the shape of the socket, Figures 4A-4C as well as Figures 5A-5C Indicates the shape and cross-sectional structure of the plug.

[0038] The socket 30 is made of metal and is composed of a cylindrical portion 31 and a flange 32 formed at one end of the cylindrical portion 31 . The flange 32 is composed of a square outer shape part 32a and a circular outer shape part 32b located inside the square outer shape part 32a. Through-holes 32c are respectively formed at the four corners of the square shape part 32a, and recessed parts 32d in a concave shape are provided at four places on the peripheral surface of the circular shape part 32b corresponding to the position...

Abstract

A receptacle includes a hollow cylinder and a flange. A plug includes a barrel having a cylindrical body, a semicylindrical section extending from the body, and an engaging section provided at an end of the semicylindrical section and a coupling nut. A boom-like retaining piece is cut out and formed in the semicylindrical section and a retaining hook is formed at an idle end of the retaining piece located in the engaging section. The coupling nut is screwed onto threads of the hollow cylinder so that the plug is connected to the receptacle. Before the connection, the engaging section is engaged with and inserted into the hollow cylinder and the retaining piece is caught in the receptacle, so that the plug is temporarily retained to the receptacle securely.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a connector composed of a plug and a receptacle, and in particular, to a structure formed so that one and the other of internal connectors such as optical connectors connected to each other can be respectively accommodated inside, and the outer shells of these internal connectors are formed. Connectors that protect internal connectors. Background technique [0002] Figure 1A , Figure 1B Indicates the configuration of the connector described in US Patent Application Publication No. 2011 / 0003501 specification, in Figure 1A , Figure 1B Among them, 11 denotes an optical connector attached to the end of the optical fiber, and 12 denotes a counterpart optical connector to which the optical connector 11 is inserted and connected. In addition, 13 denotes a plug in which the optical connector 11 is accommodated, and 14 denotes a receptacle in which the optical connector 12 is accommodated. The plug 13 and the receptacle 1...
