An embodiment of the invention discloses an information processing method and an information processing device, relates to the technical field of communication, and solves the problem that an application program, on a data storage card, running on original electronic equipment may stop running within a time period when the data storage card is mounted on a terminal like a desktop computer. The method includes backing up preset data in a second storage unit into a first storage space of a first storage unit; detecting whether the second storage unit is unloaded or not, and acquiring a first detection result; mounting the first storage space as a virtual storage unit when the first detection result shows that the second storage unit is unloaded. The information processing method and the information processing device are applicable to the data storage card of electronic equipment like a smart cellphone and a digital camera.
