[0073] Given the applicant's awareness of issues related to false attendance, the applicant participated in a survey to evaluate the impact of the Wellness Program on the health of employees. An internal study conducted showed that certain wellness programs increased productivity, improved work factors, and reduced employees' risk of illness. The study involved following 1,157 employees from 2005 to 2011. Findings from the study indicate that employees move from higher-risk categories (e.g., high-risk categories where employees are diagnosed as being at risk for three or more med...

Abstract

Embodiments of a system, computer medium, and computer-implemented method for monitoring employee health while the employee is at an employee workstation are provided. A method includes: collecting biomechanical health data indicative of a biomechanical characteristic of an employee from a plurality of biomechanical sensors located throughout an employee's workstation; and determining an employee biomechanical health profile based at least in part on the collected biomechanical health data. The employee biomechanical health profile includes the employee's biomechanical health characteristics, biomechanical health conditions, and / or biomechanical health risks. The method includes generating a wellness plan for the employee based at least in part on the biomechanical health profile, and displaying the employee biomechanical health profile and the wellness plan to the employee.
