[0073] Given the applicant's awareness of issues related to false attendance, the applicant participated in a survey to evaluate the impact of the Wellness Program on the health of employees. An internal study conducted showed that certain wellness programs increased productivity, improved work factors, and reduced employees' risk of illness. The study involved following 1,157 employees from 2005 to 2011. Findings from the study indicate that employees move from higher-risk categories (e.g., high-risk categories where employees are diagnosed as being at risk for three or more med...

Abstract

Provided are embodiments of systems, computer medium and computer-implemented methods for monitoring the health of an employee while the employee is located in an employee workstation. A method includes collecting, from a plurality of biomechanical sensors disposed throughout the employee workstation, biomechanical health data indicative of biomechanical characteristics of the employee, determining an employee biomechanical health profile based at least in part on the collected biomechanical health data. The employee biomechanical health profile includes biomechanical health characteristics, biomechanical health conditions and/or biomechanical health risks for the employee. The method includes generating a health plan for the employee based at least in part on the biomechanical health profile, and displaying the employee biomechanical health profile and the health plan to the employee.
