Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of industrial detection and discloses a method and a device for detecting hydroxyl in quartz glass by a high-Q value intracavity absorption spectroscopy technology adopting tunable polarization laser as a light source. The method comprises the following steps of treating infrared laser by an incident laser coupling input unit, then transmitting the treated infrared laser treated into a quartz glass flake to be detected, receiving the infrared laser by a signal receiving unit and analyzing infrared laser attenuation rates at different wave lengths to obtain hydroxyl content of the quartz glass; and the infrared laser incidence light path comprises a high-Q value optical cavity composed of a pair of spherical broadband reflective mirrors, the spherical broadband reflective mirrors are non-coaxially arranged in parallel, and at a Brewster angle, the infrared laser is transmitted into the detected quartz glass flake in the high-Q value optical cavity.
