The repellant is prepared by uniformly mixing 1.0-1.5% of effective ingredient, 20-30% of ethanol and 68.5-79% of 1-dodecene C12H24. The effective ingredient comprises 35-40% of nimbin and 60-65% of natural pyrethrin. The method comprises the following steps: adding the repellant in a heater, continuously heating under 114-121 DEG C, and then repelling cigarette beetle, ephestia elutella, mosquito, fly, cockroach, bug and spider in a workshop in short time. The special-purpose repellant has the advantages of high insecticidal activity, wide effect scope, less usage amount and no harm on human body. Due to fast repelling speed and short decomposition time, repellant resistance is difficult for insects. The repellant is decomposed to H2O and CO2 in air finally, and can not left in production environment. In the invention, ethanol and carbon 12 can be taken as a synergist, and the repellant has good thermostability.
