Problems solved by technology

[0005] In view of the above technical background, in order to solve the various problems presented above, especially the problem that the impedance of the phased array array changes with the change of the scanning angle, the present invention proposes a method that does not need to use a wide-angle impedance matching layer and a positive An ultra-wideband phased array antenna with cross-arranged dipole arrays and easy to realize broadband two-dimensional wide-angle scanning

Embodiment 1

[0021] refer to figure 2 As shown in the unit structure, the radiation layer of this embodiment is composed of a cochin dipole patch unit and L-shaped patches on both sides, using periodic boundary conditions to simulate the simulation in the infinite array environment of the present invention, in the wireless large array , the L-shaped patch connection of two adjacent units forms a U-shaped radiation structure, that is, 102 in one unit in the figure 1 and 102 2 . The radiation layer is placed in the middle of the dielectric layer 103 (thickness is 0.5mm), and the dielectric layer has a certain height from the floor 106, which is filled with polystyrene foam 104, and of course any other material that can support the antenna structure can also be used To replace the polystyrene foam 104 used in this embodiment. The height of the radiating element layer from the floor is about a quarter wavelength. Periodic boundary conditions are used around the unit. Cochin dipoles form a...

Embodiment 2

[0022] Embodiment 2: This embodiment adopts an 8*8 array structure, and its schematic diagram is as follows figure 1 shown. In the whole array, the cochin dipoles and U-shaped structures are arranged at intervals. Other structures and element structures are the same as those described in Embodiment 1.

[0023] Considering the conditions of the existing simulation hardware facilities, this embodiment adopts the pattern superposition principle in the electromagnetic simulation to simulate the pattern of the 8*8 area array. The radiation patterns of the graphs are shown in Figures 8, 9, and 10, respectively. It can be seen from the pattern of the planar array that the planar array has a main beam at every angle, pointing to the scanning direction accurately, and the rest are side lobes.

Abstract

The invention discloses an improved ultra-wideband phased array antenna used for two-dimensional wide-angle wave beam scanning. Coupling with adjacent units is enhanced via staggered toes arranged at the tail ends of dipoles along direction of the dipole arms, and U-shaped structure units are printed at the tail end of an orthogonal direction perpendicular to the dipoles. The U-shaped structures cross between two adjacent antenna units and are symmetrical about the boundary of the two units and are printed among a dielectric layer as the dipoles are. Uniform distribution of current on the dipoles can be greatly enhanced by the U-shaped structures within working bandwidth of the phased array antenna in array scanning so that change of the impedance characteristic of the antenna is enabled to be slow, and thus wideband two-dimensional wave beam scanning is realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of wireless communication technology and radar technology, and in particular relates to an ultra-wideband phased array two-dimensional scanning antenna system. Background technique [0002] As a key device for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic energy, antenna systems are widely used in mobile communication, satellite and military fields. The phased array antenna with wide-band and wide-angle scanning characteristics is a commonly used antenna form in modern radar systems, and its main feature is its fast beam scanning capability. With the development of space technology, it requires radar to find and track targets at a longer distance, so various military electronic systems have put forward higher requirements for the wide-bandwidth and angular scanning characteristics of phased arrays. The traditional phased array has certain limitations in expanding the frequency band and wide-angle scanning due to factors...
