Abstract

The present invention determines faulty nodes via label propagation within a wireless sensor network. Based on normal node conditions and faulty node conditions, fault detection in wireless sensor networks can be determined through label propagation training in wireless network systems. The training information is then used to propagate the node information to adjacent data vectors, which yield an indication of a faulty node or an indication of a normal transmission path.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure generally relates to aiding detection of faulty nodes based on labeling of unlabeled data vectors. Background technique [0002] A wireless sensor network (Wireless Sensor Networks, WSN) is composed of multiple sensors distributed in space to detect physical or environmental conditions and cooperatively transmit the data of these sensors to major locations via the network. WSN system detection and control are used in a variety of applications, such as: railway safety, transportation systems, agricultural monitoring, medical care equipment, etc. The cost of sensor nodes varies according to the complexity of each sensor node. Consequently, constraints on the size and cost of sensor nodes lead to corresponding constraints on resources such as energy, memory, computation speed, and communication bandwidth. Failures may occur within these sensor nodes due to signal interference, battery depletion, and / or excessive data transmission....
