The method may include: determining, by a user equipment (UE), whether a timer is running, wherein the UE has access to multiple radio access technologies (RATs); if the timer is not running, performing, by the UE, routing to a wireless LAN (WLAN ) to the original RAT; and if the timer is running, the UE does not perform handover of the data traffic routed to the WLAN to the original RAT.
