Abstract

A bottle container (1) is provided with a container main body (2) provided with a mouth / neck portion having an opening, a bottom portion, and a barrel portion, and can be held with one hand by grasping the container main body (2), and the container main body (2) has a first side surface (51) with which a first finger is in contact, a second side surface (52) with which another finger is in contact, a back surface (53) along which the palm of the hand is placed, and a front surface (54) facing the back surface when being held with one hand. The container main body has flat panel portions (55) respectively sandwiched between two ridge lines (61, 62) between the first side surface (51) and the back surface (53) and between the second side surface (52) and the back surface (53), and a back surface recessed portion (56) is formed in the back surface (53). The first side surface (51) and the second side surface (52) have a taper portion (T) in which the distance (H) between the first side surface (51) and the second side surface (52) gradually decreases from the back surface (53) side to the front surface (54) side, and the length (L2) of the taper portion (T) is 70% or more of the length (L2') between the panel portions (55) and the front surface (54).
