Embodiment Construction

[0032] The following will be described in conjunction with specific embodiments. This embodiment describes the principles and features of the present invention, and the examples are only used to explain the present invention, not to limit the scope of the present invention.

[0033] The inventor combines many years of safflower magnolia breeding experience, adopts large-scale seedlings as rootstock, and adopts safflower magnolia as scion, and has obtained remarkable achievements. On the one hand, due to the lignification of old branches, only the cambium and phloem have the function of transporting water, so we choose to carry out high-level grafting on newly sprouted branches. The newly sprouted branches have certain toughness and hardness, and the whole branch can transmit water. The potential is strong, the cell tissue divides quickly, and more callus is formed. On the other hand, the newly germinated branches of the rootstock are cut into a long cut surface, and the scion...

Abstract

The invention discloses a high position grafting method for magnolia wufengensis. By taking a yulania spach tree as a rootstock and a current-year twig of magnolia wufengensis as a scion, the twig as autumn comes has inclination to lignification, and the twig can be started to be grafted; the method comprises the four steps: rootstock cultivation, rootstock treatment, scion cutting and scion binding. By using a large-sized nursery stock as the rootstock, the large-sized nursery stock can be sold after 3-4 years of grafting. The newly germinated twigs of the rootstock are exuberant in vitality, strong growth vigor, fast in cell tissue division and more in formed calluses. The newly germinated twigs of the rootstock and the scion are cut to long sections, so that the exposed part of the formed layer is more, the butt plane is expanded, and the calluses generated at wounds are more, thereby accelerating concrescence. The technological difficulty that the magnolia wufengensis is low in survive rate, and the technical defect that the large-sized nursery stock is long in cultivation period is overcome.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of nursery stock propagation, relates to a plant grafting method, in particular to a high-position grafting method of safflower magnolia. Background technique [0002] Safflower Magnolia ( Magnolia wufengensis ) is a new species of Magnoliaceae discovered by Professor Ma Lvyi of Beijing Forestry University and others in Wufeng, Hubei in 2004 when they investigated the resources of Magnoliaceae. In the previous official records, there were only white, purple and single-sided light red varieties of magnolia. It was the first time in China to find a magnolia that was completely red inside and outside, and it was unique to Wufeng. [0003] Magnolia safflower has extremely rich flower morphological variation characteristics, and the flower color types have different expressions of deep red, red and light red; the number of perianth segments ranges from 9 to 46 petals; the shape of perianth segments is broad and obovate S...
