Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of agriculture, particularly relates to a potato planting method and provides a scientific and reasonable potato planting method. The potato planting method comprises steps as follows: (1) land selection: land parcels except Solanaceae crop land parcels are selected, and land parcels having thick soil layers, fertile soil and irrigation conditions are selected; (2) land preparation: land is deeply ploughed by 25-30 cm and subjected to harrowing and smoothing; (3) fertilization: soil fertility is investigated, and reasonable fertilization is performed; 40-50 jin of urea, 100 jin of ammonium carbonate and at least 4000 jin of farmyard manure are applied per mu; or 100 jin of compound fertilizer, 100 jin of ammonium carbonate and about 30 jin of urea are applied per mu; (4) pregermination and seed cutting: seed potatoes are placed in a dark place at the temperature of 15-20 DEG C before pregermination and sowing; when shoots grow to 1-1.5 cm, the seed potatoes are placed under stray light for shoot training, and the seed potatoes are cut into pieces after turning green or purple (shoot damage is avoided); direct exposure to sunlight, raining and frosting are avoided during pregermination; pregermination and storage on a cement floor are avoided due to the fact that the cement floor is airtight and waterproof and seed rot is caused easily.
