When all parts of the butterfly valve are mounted, the valve rod and the component of the butterfly plate are only required to be inserted in a cavity of the valve body, the limiting component coats the valve rod, and the valve rod is fixed on the top of the valve body; when the butterfly valve is used and installed with other equipment, a reserved space has no need to be formed below the mounting position of the butterfly valve, and the installation is directly performed; and when the butterfly valve is required to be disassembled and maintained, the disassembly procedure and the installation procedure are opposite, so that the installation and maintenance procedures of the butterfly valve are simplified, and the working efficiency is improved.
