The technical scheme is that the current limiter is composed of a reactance transformer component, a slide and contact component, a metal sealing cover, an operating mechanism and an insulating platform. The iron core of the reactance transformer component is formed by silicon steel sheets through lamination, and the shape of the iron core is like a Chinese character "hui". The two sides of the iron core are provided with series coils which are formed by bare copper wires through winding. An insulating bushing is arranged between the iron core and the bare copper wires. The exposed part of the bare copper wires is level with the external surface of the insulating bushings.
