Abstract

The invention provides a system for declining incoming calls, which is installed and operates in a communication terminal. The communication terminal comprises a memory and a plurality of keys, wherein the memory stores a plurality of audio files and a mapping relation of the audio files and preset operations of the specific keys in advance. The system comprises a detection module and a control module, wherein the detection module is used for detecting whether one key, on which preset operation is performed, exists in the plurality of keys of the communication terminal when a user answers an incoming call; and the control module is used for converting the audio file associated with the preset operation of the key into communication voice signals to be transmitted to a caller when preset operation is executed on the key. The invention further provides a method for declining incoming calls. The system and the method for declining incoming calls are used for converting prestored voice signals into communication voice signals, are more realistic and polite when compared with incoming call declination through short message prompting, and do not affect the surrounding atmosphere at present due to call answering sounds.
