Abstract

The butt-joint tongue plate is provided with the components of two opposite surfaces, two opposite side surfaces which are respectively connected with the surfaces, and a front end surface which is connected with the surfaces and the side surfaces. The first terminal row and the second terminal row are respectively provided with a contact part which is exposed from a surface which faces the butt-joint tongue plate. One side surface of the butt-joint tongue plate is also provided with a mistaken plugging preventing part. The mistaken plugging preventing part outwards extends transversely out of one side surface of the butt-joint tongue plate. According to the electric connector, through arranging the mistaken plugging preventing part, the socket connector can effectively prevent reverse plugging of the plug connector and mistaken plugging of an unmatched plug connector.
