The invention discloses an improved emulsion paint, which is prepared from the following raw materials (by weight): 2.5-3.9 parts of fluorinated polyurethane, 2.7-4.4 parts of mica powder, 10-15 parts of titanium dioxide, 20-30 parts of emulsion, 3.7-6.8 parts of potassium tripolyphosphate, 2.4-6.5 parts of alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether and 2.1-6.5 parts of myristaldehyde. In comparison with existing emulsion paints, the emulsion paint of the invention has the following advantages: by the utilization of controlled rheology of mica powder and titanium dioxide, intermediate and high shear viscosity of the paint is effectively raised, and water diversion tendency of the paint is improved; by efficient bactericidal performance of potassium tripolyphosphate, decomposition and demulsification of the paint are effectively prevented, and storage cycle of the paint is prolonged; and by rational combination of alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether and other auxiliary agents, comprehensive performance of the paint is enhanced, and an emulsion paint product with low cost and high performance is prepared.
