Abstract

The method includes the steps of: extracting getting-on and getting-off position data of a passenger carrying path in a traveling track of a floating car, and building an OD data set; based on an improved density clustering algorithm, clustering OD data of the floating car to obtain travel hotspot clusters, and calculating the geographic positions of travel hotspots represented by the centers of mass of the hotspot clusters; performing secondary clustering on the travel hotspot mass centers to obtain a travel hotspot density packet, searches a convex set of the density packet and building hotspot areas of geometrical shapes; calculating heat degrees of hotspot areas to represent travel demand degrees, and dividing hotspot area guidance levels according to the heat degrees; and extracting interest point groups and guidance areas according to the guidance levels.
