Abstract

The invention provides a mobile terminal-based clothes search method. The method comprises the following steps of taking a picture by a user through a mobile terminal or selecting a clothes picture from a picture library of the mobile terminal by the user, and uploading the picture to a server to carry out clothes search: obtaining clothes commodity pictures and commodity information from an e-commerce website through a network crawler, storing the clothes commodity pictures and the commodity information into a clothes database and carrying out image feature extraction to form an image feature pool; in response to the clothes picture taken or selected by the user through the mobile terminal, clipping the clothes picture and carrying out matching query on the server; and displaying the queried similar clothes pictures and corresponding clothes information to the user through the mobile terminal according to the queried clothes result, wherein the clothes information comprises brands, prices and materials of the clothes. The method provided by the invention is combined with the characteristic of clothes commodity visualization, and a manner of searching pictures by pictures is provided for the users to carry out a clothes commodity search, so that the experience of searching clothes commodities by the users is enhanced.
