Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses an establishment method and an establishment device of a virtual network function VNF device. A VNF manager determines which physical sever is going to be equipped with the VFM device according to load conditions of the managed physical server and a preset load balancing algorithm, then establishes the VNF device in the physical server and stores a recognizable stack configuration command of the VNF device into a preset position, so the VNF device is allowed to read and execute the stack configuration command from the preset position when being started on the physical server, thereby finishing configuration of the VNF device, collecting topology information and participating a role campaign to form IRF stacks. In the whole process, the VNF device is free from restarting, so restarting frequency of the VNF device is reduced and occurrence of unbalanced condition of server load is avoided.
