The invention provides methods and devices for serializing and deserializing structured data. The method for serializing the structured data includes acquiring attribute value groups respectively corresponding to the n structured data; generating a group of serialized data according to the attribute value groups respectively corresponding to the n structured data. The serialized data comprise n records, wherein the i record comprises m+1 domains, the attribute value groups corresponding to the i structured data are stored in value information of previous m domains, and first specific marks are stored in tag information of the m+1 domains and are used for marking ends of the i record. The serialized data further comprise specific domains at the rears of the n records, and second specific marks are stored in tag information of the specific domains and are used for marking ends of the serialized data. The methods and the device have the advantages that the structures of message objects are omitted, and accordingly the problem of incapability of implementing serialization due to constraints of the sizes of the message objects can be solved.
