The cutting propagation method comprises the following steps: (1) rapidly dipping selected semi-lignified pachysandra terminalis cuttings in rooting promoting liquid; (2) inserting the cuttings treated by the step (1) into a base material; culturing, wherein culturing conditions are as follows: the air humidity is 80-%-95%, the temperature is 25 DEG C-30 DEG C and the illumination intensity is 240Lx-300Lx. According to the cutting propagation method provided by the invention, the propagation survival rate and quantity of the pachysandra terminalis can be increased; meanwhile, the local adaptability of cutting seedlings is improved, so that the propagated pachysandra terminalis cutting seedlings have high survival rate and high seedling growing speed and the greening effect is stable; the cutting propagation method has strong seed introduction and propagation practicability on the pachysandra terminalis and relatively low cost; and the application of the pachysandra terminalis in garden afforestation is propelled and the living environment is improved.
