Abstract

Provided is a power supply circuit of a gas discharge lamp. The power supply circuit comprises a single-phase alternating current power supply, an alternating current iron core coil and the gas discharge lamp, and is characterized in that the power supply circuit also comprises an alternating current capacitor; the alternating current capacitor, the alternating current iron core coil and the gas discharge lamp are serially connected and then connected to the single-phase alternating current power supply; the inductive reactance of the alternating current iron core coil is smaller than the capacitive reactance of the alternating current capacitor; and an iron core works in a region where the magnetic permeability of the magnetic material is decreased along with increasing of the magnetic field intensity. According to the invention, fluctuation of the current along with the voltage of the power supply can be effectively inhibited; compared with the prior art, the structure of the power supply circuit is greatly simplified; and cost is remarkably reduced and the reliability is remarkably improved.
