The processor is used for setting an address for the port of the controllable device according to the unique address of the current controller board card after the current controller board card is inserted into the controllable device and setting the function for the port of the controllable device based on the information of the function set for the port of the controllable device. Therefore, the types and the number of the controller board card as well as the spare part number of the controller board card can be reduced; and management and maintenance of the reactor protection system of the nuclear power plant can be simplified.
