The apparatus provided by the invention is capable of automatically removing the outer epidermis; a scraper assembly is ingenious in structure and simulates the procedure of peeling off the outer epidermis of a squid in manual epidermis removal; the scraper assembly is fast in epidermis removal speed and good in epidermis removal effect and maximally reduces damage to and waste of squid meat; and after completion of epidermis removal, a rolling brush is employed for automatic cleaning of the scraper assembly, so automatic and continuous operation of the apparatus is guaranteed, production efficiency is improved, labor force is liberated, and labor cost is reduced.
