The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: taking a 'H2SO4-KIO3-[NiL](ClO4)2-propanedioic acid-H2O2' nonlinear oscillating chemical system as an identification solution, and further distinguishing and identifying the aromatic isomers 2-hydroxybenzoic acid and 3-hydroxybenzoic acid according to oscillation response of the aromatic isomers on the system, wherein L in [NiL](ClO4)2 refers to 5,7,7,12,14,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazamacrocyclo-4,11-diene.
