Abstract

The invention discloses a method for generating a characteristic line online. The method comprises the following steps of 1, determining the position of a starting point of characteristic line scanning according to the argument and radial width, input by a user, of the characteristic line; 2, determining the position where the characteristic line scanning is performed at present; 3, obtaining characteristic line information; 4, calculating a scalar flux of a storage coarse net by MOC; 5, calculating a distance from a nearest surface; and 6, determining a lattice cell which the characteristic line is about to arrive at. According to the method, repeated units do not need to be used; the characteristic line is generated in the characteristic line scanning process, namely, the characteristic line is generated while being scanned; and the geometry of a reactor core is not limited completely, so that the application range of a conventional characteristic line method is greatly expanded.
