The method comprises the following steps: (1) hybridization is performed by using a purple-glutinous maize seed as a female parent and a white-sweet maize seed as a male parent, and therefore an F1 generation is obtained; (2) purple seeds in the F1 generation are selected and planted, backcrossing is performed by using purple-glutinous maize seeds as male parents, and therefore an F2 generation is obtained; (3) purple-glutinous seeds are selected from the F2 generation, each seed is singly planted, bagging is performed on every grown maize for self breeding, and therefore an F3 generation is obtained; (4) ears with white-sweet seeds which appear in the F3 generation are selected, all purple-glutinous seeds on the ears are selected out and the selected seeds are separately singly sown, bagging is performed on every grown maize for self breeding, and therefore an F4 generation is obtained; and (5) white-sweet seeds in the F4 generation are selected and planted, and self breeding is continuously performed for 3-4 generations according to quality, resistance and plant types, so that the color sweet-glutinous maize inbred line is bred, and the inbred line can be used to breed stock seeds through self breeding or mixed breeding.
