[0013] The following description relates to systems and methods for flowing exhaust gas through an SCR device configured to store urea. The plate is physically coupled to a rotatable rod in the SCR device, wherein the plate divides the interior of the SCR device into compartments that are generally equal in volume to each other. The compartments are fluidly coupled to each other due to the plates being open to the exhaust flow. Thus, exhaust gas can flow from one compartment to another.
