The method includes determining pixels with minimum chroma in an image as reference pixels; determining an average gray scale value of the reference pixels; determining an adjustment value according to gray scale values of subpixels in the reference pixels and the average gray scale value; and adjusting the gray scale values of the subpixels ofpixels in the image according to the adjustment value. According to the image processing method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, since the determined adjustment can represent chroma shift of corresponding subpixels under influence of ambient light, through adjustment of the gray scale values of the subpixels of the pixels in the image with the adjustment value, the subpixels emit light according to the adjusted gray scale values, shift of can be eliminated to a certain extent, thereby realizing elimination of chroma shift of the whole image.
