Example Embodiment

[0013] like figure 1 shown, figure 1 It is a schematic flowchart of an image enhancement method according to an embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the image enhancement method includes:

[0014] In step S11, at least two original RGB images collected for the same scene under different exposure times are acquired. Each raw RGB image has different brightness due to different exposure times.

[0015] In step S12, each original RGB image is converted into HSI space to obtain a luminance component image corresponding to each original RGB image, a saturation component image and a hue component image corresponding to at least one original RGB image, respectively. Generally speaking, the brightness of the original RGB images collected for the same scene at different exposure times is different, so after conversion to the HIS space, the same number of brightness component images as the original RGB images can be obtained. Since the acquisition is for the same ...

Abstract

The invention discloses an image enhancement method and an image processing device. The image enhancement method comprises the steps of acquiring at least two original RGB images which is acquired foraiming at the same scene at different exposure time points; transferring each original RGB image to an HSI space for obtaining a brightness component image, a saturation component image and a tone component image; performing weighing fusion on each brightness component image, thereby obtaining a fused brightness component image; and transferring the fused brightness component image, the tone component image and the saturation component image to an RGB space for obtaining an enhanced RGB image. Through the image enhancement method and the image processing device, only the brightness componentis calculated and weighted fusion is performed, thereby simplifying a computing process, reducing calculation amount, reducing computing complexity in manufacturing a high dynamic comparing image.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of image display, in particular to an image enhancement method and an image processing device. Background technique [0002] In order to solve the difference between the brightness of the image captured by the camera and the real scene, different exposure time lengths are generally used to control the image information captured by the camera. In a longer exposure time, the high-brightness area is generally prone to overexposure, while the low-brightness area can obtain clearer image details; on the contrary, in a shorter exposure time, the high-brightness area can obtain clearer images. Image detail is preserved, while low-brightness areas are prone to underexposure. Therefore, the low-brightness area in the high-exposure time image and the high-brightness area in the low-exposure time are generally used for image fusion to produce a high dynamic contrast image. [0003] However, the existing image fusion calculatio...
