Problems solved by technology

[0005] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation system based on real-time modulation of music, aiming to solve the problems of single stimulation waveform parameters, large volume, difficult to carry, and high cost during the stimulation process of the vagus nerve. The amplitude, frequency, stimulation time and the speed of the music change synchronously with the current stimulation pulse waveform in real time

Abstract

The invention discloses a percutaneous vagus nerve stimulation system based on music real-time modulation. The system comprises a smart phone and a neural stimulator. The neural stimulator comprises apower supply management module, a Bluetooth module, a buffering module, an MCU module, a polarity conversion module, a constant-current output module, a voltage detection module and an output electrode. The neural stimulator provides power by use of an external power supply and carries out real-time monitoring by use of a special software APP installed on the smart phone through the Bluetooth module. The neural stimulator extracts tone and volume of different music in real time through a fundamental frequency detection algorithm, a volume extraction algorithm and the like, obtains different stimulation parameters through modulation, and controls the corresponding module to give out stimulation current pulses to stimulate vagus nerves, thereby achieving synchronization of stimulation waveforms and the music and achieving expected effects. The system is portable, has various functions and provides important support for research of percutaneous vagus nerve stimulation.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of embedded and medical electronic equipment applications. More specifically, the present invention mainly relates to a transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation system based on music real-time modulation, which is suitable for medical clinical equipment experiments. Background technique [0002] The vagus nerve is the tenth pair of cranial nerves, the longest and most widely distributed pair of cranial nerves, containing sensory, motor and parasympathetic fibers. Its incoming signals are uploaded directly or through the nucleus of the solitary tract to the reticular system, and diffusely projected to the cerebral cortex, hypothalamic nucleus, amygdala, hippocampal complex and other brain structures. [0003] At present, the relevant transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation devices on the market are generally relatively large in size, and portable electrical stimulation devices are easy to carry. If the d...
