Abstract

A device and method for paging overlap mitigation are provided, the device comprising: a first Subscriber Identity Module (SIM), a second SIM; a Dual SIM Resource Controller (DSRC), connected to the first SIM and the second SIM Two SIMs; radio frequency (RF) communication entities, connected to the DSRC, wherein the DSRC performs one of the following operations: scheduling a first paging preparation period for the first SIM before a second paging preparation period for the second SIM; The RF request to the RF communication entity is retried by the first SIM after the initial RF request by the RF communication entity is not authorized.
