The positioning guide device comprises a plurality of step positioning guide members, wherein each step positioning guide member is composed of a guide barrel and a flange disc connected with the guide barrel, and one end of each guide barrel is rounded, and the other end of the guide barrel is connected with the corresponding flange disc; positioning convex rings are arranged on the two end parts of each guide barrel separately; the rounded corner of one end of each guide barrel clings to the conical surface of the end part of a step hole of the machined part of a workpiece; the positioning convex rings on each guide barrel are matched with the inner surface of the step hole of the machined part of theworkpiece; a plurality of through holes in each flange disc are in one-to-one correspondence with a plurality of process holes in the edge of the opening part of the step hole of the machined part ofthe workpiece, and are connected and fixed through thread fasteners; and the inner diameter of the guide barrel of each step positioning guide member is equal to the inner diameter of the next-stage step hole of the workpiece. The invention further provides a method for deep hole machining for steps.
