[0020] As described herein, embodiments of the present invention include systems and methods for attaching swimming pool accessories, such as LED light strings, to swimming pool liners. An above ground pool may include a liner having one or more resealable pockets attached thereto. The resealable pocket is designed such that the LED string lights can be inserted therein to provide lighting in or around the above ground swimming pool. It will be appreciated that having a resealable pocket allows the LED string lights or other pool accessories to be changed relatively easily (eg, without emptying the entire pool). For example, a user can change a LED light string of a certain color and replace it with an LED light string of another color according to the theme of the party. In some embodiments, the one or more resealable pockets may be attached to the inner and / or outer surface of the liner as desired.
