Abstract

The invention relates to application of decursinol alpha-angelica lactone to preparation of antiatherosclerosis medicine, and belongs to the technical field of medicine. The angelica effective ingredient of decursinol alpha-angelica lactone is studied; the blood-fat conditioning effect is discovered in ApoE gene knocked mice. The obvious atherosclerosis plaques can be seen in the aorta of the ApoEgene knocked mice; through the feeding of the decursinol alpha-angelica lactone, the atherosclerosis plaques are obviously relieved. Meanwhile, in the adhesion effect with endothelial cells relevantto the atherosclerosis, the decursinol alpha-angelica lactone can inhibit the adhesion of mononuclear cells to endothelial cells and adhesion of LDL and oxLDL induced mononuclear cells to endothelialcells. Through in vitro and in vivo study, the result shows that the decursinol alpha-angelica lactone can relieve the blood lipid metabolism abnormality, and can be used for preventing and treating atherosclerosis. The decursinol alpha-angelica lactone is used and can be prepared into the antiatherosclerosis medicine. The good effect is achieved. The study is good news for wide patients.
