Abstract

The invention discloses a starter, a one-way clutch of the starter and an outer base ring. A base cavity which is surrounded by a circumferential wall is arranged in the outer base ring. A plurality of separating bodies stretch from the circumferential wall to the base cavity in the radial direction. A roller chamber is formed between every two adjacent separating bodies, and a middle portion is arranged in each roller chamber. A first chamber is formed between one of a pair of separating bodies adjacent to each roller chamber and the corresponding middle portion, and a second chamber is formed between the other separating body of the pair of separating bodies adjacent to each roller chamber and the corresponding middle portion. Roller faces are formed on the portions, located in the firstchambers and the second chambers, of the circumferential wall. The farther the roller faces are away from the middle portions, the closer the roller faces are to a rotating shaft.
