Abstract

The invention relates to a display device and a machine tool. The front surface of a protection cover of the machine tool has an operation panel. The operation panel is equipped with the display device. When the display device clamps an outer periphery part of a touch panel between a metal frame member and a resin support frame part, a double-end bolt and a nut can be utilized so that the supportframe part can be fixed on the frame member. Accordingly, an operator only dismounts a nut from the double-end bolt and dismounts the support frame part from the frame member when the touch panel is replaced. Therefore, the operator can easily dismount a panel unit from the frame member. The operator can easily replace the dismounted touch panel of the panel unit with a novel product or a repairedproduct and reinstall the novel product or the repaired product onto the frame member.
