Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a retrieval method and system for solving the problems of high matching, low precision and single retrieval result of an existing retrieval method. The methodcomprises the steps of obtaining historical query data of a user, and extracting product attributes in a title and a text; according to commodity attribute libraries of commodity attributes and each commodity attribute obtained offline, respectively calculating the correlation with the commodity attributes included in the historical query data and the correlation with the extracted commodity attributes; based on the correlation, filtering the commodity attributes obtained in the offline process and corresponding related commodity attribute lists, and retrieving as query expansion words. Sincethe information in a final web-page where the user clicks retrieval effectively reflects needs of the user, the subsequent use of the information for the retrieval of the expansion words improves theretrieval accuracy, the retrieval recalling is expanded, the problems of no results or few retrieval valid results are effectively solved, and the retrieval experience of the user is greatly improved.
