After various types of aldehyde react with the gelatin, the quantity of amino in the gelatin can be reduced through an aldehyde group; a research for thechanges of a swelling speed of the gelatin in the water finds out that the gelatin has a relatively high swelling speed through the aldehyde group and ageing reaction of the gelatin is hopefully inhibited; and the method is a relatively ideal method for delaying the ageing of the gelatin. Single terminated PEG-CHO can be used for modifying a gelatin molecule structure and an obtained product is modified gelatin; and PEG400 is added into a capsule shell formula, the flexibility of the capsule shell is modified and a final formula of a modified gelatin capsule shell is determined.
