Discovered fromresults, bruguiear gymnorrhiza leaf ethanol extract, petroleum ether extract and ethyl acetate extract have obvious inhibition actions respectively for pancreatic cancer cells SW1990, wherein the ethyl acetate part of the bruguiear gymnorrhiza leaf has most obvious effect for inhibiting multiplication of the pancreatic cancer SW1990, can inhibit migration and invasion of the pancreatic cancer SW1990 obviously, the effect for inhibiting multiplication is in a positive correlation to time and concentration, which prompts that the extract of the ethyl acetate part of the bruguiear gymnorrhiza leaf has exact effect for resisting the pancreatic cancer SW1990. The application disclosed by the invention has the beneficial effects that the effect and the molecular mechanism for resisting the pancreatic cancer of the antitumor active part of the bruguiear gymnorrhiza leaf are illuminated, scientific basis is provided for fully developing the medicinal value of the bruguiear gymnorrhiza leaf resource, a new path is opened up for using traditional Chinese medicines to treat the pancreatic cancer, and reference is provided for clinical application of the bruguiear gymnorrhiza for resisting thecancer.
