Abstract

Disclosed is a transformer insulation life prediction and reliability evaluation method. A new oil paper insulation state evaluation method based on a correction factor algorithm is proposed, and on this basis, a model for evaluating the insulation life of a transformer under combined influence of aging, moisture and temperature is created. Then, operation state scores are introduced into an aginglife evaluation model through relationships between operation states and life expectancy to propose a new model in which failure rates are jointly represented by insulation aging and the operation states. The transformer insulation life prediction and reliability evaluation method improves the evaluation accuracy of reliability of a transformer on the basis of considering interaction of aging andmoisture.
